Our Marans breeder birds have correctly feathered shanks and outer toes. They lay dark brown eggs in extra large to jumbo size. The Rhodebars (no photo shown) are a rare autosexing breed from England. Isbars (pronounced ice bars) are the only single combed green egg layer in the world and are still quite rare in the US. Isbars lay large green eggs, and lay very very well (250+ eggs/year). We will also be breeding Olive Eggers this year. We pasture our breeder birds and they are not kept penned up all the time. They are also fed commercial feed as well as barley fodder we sprout ourselves and redworms that we raise as AlohaRedworms.com
